Sterile tissue
Sterile tissue, ready from the shelf
Sterilised cornea and sclera for glaucoma and corneal surgery, from two international eye banks and supplied in South Africa. Both lines keep for two years at room temperature, available for scheduled and emergency cases.
Overview
What sterile tissue is
Sterile tissue is donor cornea and sclera that has been terminally sterilised and packaged, so it can be stored at room temperature and used without rinsing or rehydration.
Both suppliers publish their line for glaucoma surgery, including tube and shunt coverage, and for corneal surgery and repair.
